The Red Carpet Service Award is given each year to the one Maytag Commercial Laundry Distributor who best achieves all the requirements to be a Red Carpet Service Organization including service response time. (This award was developed by Mr. Fred Maytag himself who wanted customers to feel like they had been treated like royalty and that the “Red Carpet” had been rolled out for them) To be a Maytag Red Carpet Service organization, a Maytag Commercial Laundry Distributor must follow stringent guidelines set by the Maytag Company. This includes wearing Red Carpet Service Uniforms on all service calls, Red Carpet Decals on all service vehicles, a full parts inventory on hand at all times and ongoing product and service training.
