It's an amazing accomplishment! Caldwell and Gregory received the Maytag Red Carpet Service Award at The Maytag Company’s Commercial Annual Meeting for the fourth time in 15 years - something no other Maytag Commercial Laundry Distributor has ever accomplished! The 15 year old Virginia-based company has established an impeccable reputation for customer satisfaction and superior service throughout the Eastern United States, which has resulted in them retaining over 98% of its original customer base!

The Red Carpet Service Award is given each year to the one Maytag Commercial Laundry Distributor who best achieves all the requirements to be a Red Carpet Service organization including service response time. The award was developed by Mr. Fred Maytag himself who wanted customers to feel like they had been treated like royalty and that the “Red Carpet” had been rolled out for them. To be a Maytag Red Carpet Service organization, a Maytag Commercial Laundry Distributor must follow stringent guidelines set by the Maytag Company. This includes wearing Red Carpet Service uniforms on all service calls, Red Carpet decals on all service vehicles, a full parts inventory on hand at all times and ongoing product and service training. 

The Maytag Company looks at other factors throughout the year such as service response time, service tracking and online service request forms when considering a company for the award. The intangibles that take a company “over the top” in terms of its ability to actually win the Maytag Red Carpet Service Award are things such as customer comments, customer loyalty, customer service etiquette and a commitment by the company and its service technicians to continually engage in refresher training courses. 

By winning this award for the fourth time in the last 15 years, Caldwell and Gregory’s total commitment to customer service and satisfaction is well known. “We work very hard every day to assure that our customers are taken care of and their issues are addressed to their satisfaction” said John Gregory, who started the company back in 1990. “If someone is unhappy or not satisfied with our service, we want to know about it” stated John Gregory.
